Oregon requires all hunters under 18 to complete hunter safety education before hunting in the state — an age cutoff, not a birth-year cutoff. 18 and older can certify entirely online, from $10.
Oregon is one of relatively few states in this project where adults are never required to certify at all — the requirement only ever applies to hunters under 18. A hunter education total cost in Oregon is really two separate charges: the vendor's course fee (e.g. $34.95 at hunter-ed.com) plus ODFW's own flat $10 fee, which pays for the Field Day for youth or is simply charged to adults who complete the course voluntarily.

Every U.S. state, province or country with a mandatory hunter education requirement accepts the Oregon certificate.
