Elk, alligator, and the bear stamp aren't included, and deer, bear, or turkey still need a free License-Exempt Big Game Harvest Report Card.

Publisher's note. Zones per NCWRC 2026-27 dates cheatsheet (filename reads 'Tentative') and 2026-27 Inland Digest (effective Aug 1, 2026). Graham County has no antlerless gun season (source explicitly prints 'None') — omitted, not a data gap. Buncombe/Henderson counties include a sub-county carve-out that cannot be captured in a flat zone row; consult the digest for boundary specifics. ANTLERLESS IS WIDER THAN THE WEAPON ROWS SUGGEST: NCWRC prints a separate 'Antlerless Season Dates' column, and for the Northwestern zone it reads 'same as antlered' for archery, blackpowder and gun alike — so those are full either-sex seasons, not antlered-only. In the Western zone every county group may take antlerless during the whole archery season; the restrictions bite only in blackpowder and gun, and they differ per group. Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Madison, Mitchell and Yancey are the least restricted — antlerless runs the full blackpowder and gun seasons there, while Cherokee/Clay/Haywood/Jackson/Macon/Swain/Transylvania get a one-day antlerless gun season and Graham gets none at all. The carve-out marked * is NCWRC's own: in the named parts of Buncombe and Henderson counties the antlerless season is all days of the applicable weapon's antlered season instead of the shorter window.
